  • Why we exist

For years, tax has been something people deal with annually. A rush. A panic. A January deadline.

Making Tax Digital changes all of that.

It requires a completely different way of working – more regular, more digital, and more structured. But for most people, this will feel overwhelming.

    That’s where we come in.

What we do

Everything we do is designed to be simple, practical, and easy to follow. We help sole traders and landlords:

The experts behind Solely Digital

Clare Farrow

Co-Founder

Clare is an experienced accountant who’s spent years helping sole traders and landlords get their finances in order (often after a year of putting them off).

She knows tax can feel stressful at the best of times – and with Making Tax Digital, it’s only getting more complicated. That’s why she co-founded Solely Digital: to make it all feel a lot more manageable.

Clare believes digital accounting isn’t just about keeping HMRC happy. It’s about fewer surprises, less panic, and no more last-minute scrambles in January.

Rob Groves

Co-Founder

Rob is a Finance Director by trade, with a knack for bringing calm and clarity to numbers that might otherwise feel overwhelming.

He co-founded Solely Digital to help sole traders and landlords stay on top of Making Tax Digital, without it taking over their lives.

Rob’s approach is simple: get the right systems in place, keep things ticking along, and avoid the dreaded “I’ll deal with it later” pile.
