What is Making Tax Digital?

April 2026

From April 2026, thousands of sole traders and landlords will need to send quarterly tax updates to HMRC. It sounds like extra work – and it is, unless you have the right help.

You could spend hours learning the process and filing them yourself. You could pay your accountant and spend hundreds a year. Or you could let Solely Digital handle it all for just £39 a month – keeping you compliant while saving you time and money.

How it works

Your digital tax sorted in three easy steps

      Get set up

Create a Solely Digital account with us. Receive an onboarding email with links to download the required software.

      Keep it simple

Start logging your income and expenses by photographing or emailing income and expense receipts or uploading them to the app. It’s quick and easy, and it prevents shoeboxes of paperwork.

      We’ll do the rest

At the end of each quarter you’ll simply need to confirm your uploads are correct and up to date, then we’ll do the rest by filing your updates to HMRC on time, every time – so you can carry on running your business without worrying about tax deadlines.
